I was skeptical but it is a great product!
I have to say that I was not really expecting a lot from this product. It is inexpensive and is plain but I tried it. I am so glad I did, this is by far my favorite C serum. I have noticed some big changes in my skin over the last few weeks; it is brighter, clearer and more radiant. I only wish they made it in bigger jars.

Great serum!
This is one of my favourite serum besides Murad. After I used it for a few weeks, my skin looked so bright and smooth. After cleansing, I use Avalon Facial Toner, and then I follow with this Vitamin C Serum. Those ingredients are terrific and good for your skin. I am using the second bottle right now, and I will definitely keep using this product.

Customer Review

Prevents and improves aging
I have been using this product for years, first from a more expensive brand and for the last few years from Cosmetic Skin Solutions. I feel confident that this more affordable brand is a good quality product and is providing the same benefits. I have read research that Phloretin, Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid help to improve fine lines, discoloration and reverse some pre-cancerous skin changes. I use this daily on my face, shoulders and chest where I have already had basal cell cancers removed. I have noticed a smoothing of my skin tone and people usually think I am younger than I am. It is best to use vitamin C products in the morning and this should be the first product on the skin after washing. It is liquid and easy to waste--I tilt my head back and put one drop on my forhead and one drop on each cheek. Then I swirl it in with my fingertips. I then use one to two drops on my decolletage and one drop on each shoulder. Let it dry for three minutes, then apply your other...

Fabulous Brand New Antioxidant Serum
I am extremely impressed with this product thus far. Before using this product, I was a bit skeptical as to the amount of research studied on this new antioxidant Phloretin. Since only having read positive reviews about it's benefts to the skin, I decided to give it a try. After having used this product for only 2 weeks, I have noticed the redness (rocesea) I once had on my cheeks has almost disappeared. Being also borderline as a person with normal to oily skin, it has kept my skin clear and non-oily, a good thing. I have also noticed my makeup goes on much smoother without irritating my already sensitive skin. This new serum has worked wonders on the overall improvement and radiance of my skin....I am confident it will continue to offer unmatched results and improvement to my skin.....You would be just as satisfied with it's benefit's as I, especially for the PRICE....

Comparable result to Skinceuticals
I used the same formula from the Skinceuticals brand which is over twice the price and have had similar results with this brand. I saw increased clarity and smoothness in my skin with both. It does not break out or irritate my sensitive skin. I'm glad that I can now find this available at a more affordable price!

Topical Antioxidants

Personally I apply a Vitamin C product (I have a Jamela one and also Dr Schultz one) under my night cream every single night without fail. Our first line of defence on the skin is the application of topical antioxidants which can literally absorb and neutralise the free radical energy.

Vitamin E is a well known antioxidant that helps prevent the formation of free radicals upon skin exposure to UVA rays and other sources of skin stress. Vitamin E also reduces transepidermal water loss from the skin and helps improve the skin’s barrier function.

Regular use of a medical-grade topical antioxidant will revitalize, protect, and preserve your skin’s tone, texture, and appearance, and will prevent the appearance of aging. When free radical damage occurs on the skin, sunspots, wrinkles, freckles, uneven skin tone, and skin cancer can result.   A great way protect against this damage is to use a daily topical antioxidant.   Applying antioxidants topically to the skin effectively prevents free radical damage caused by the sun and by pollution in the air.  Effective Topical Antioxidants.

Dark spots , also known as brown spots, sun spots, age spots, liver spots, are the results of overexposure to the sun or sun damage of the skin. Skin lightening products are able to remove the dark blemish and turn it back to normal or near to normal skin color. –Putting on topical agents such as skin lightening products, bleaching or fading creams. Many of these products contain topical steroids, hydroquinone, tretinoin and mercury salts that can have undesirable effects on long-term users. However when melanocytes produce excess melanin in the epidermis (top layer of the skin), we see the development of dark spots. Every so often, there is either excess melanin synthesis or an abnormal distribution of melanin pigment deposited in the epidermis, discoloration occurs. To avoid undesirable effects, many natural plant extracts have been evaluated as alternative skin lighteners. As a result, hyper-reactive melanocytes produce excess melanin and cause coloring in surrounding keratinocytes, predominant cell type in the epidermis. Skin lightening products contain a variety of active ingredients, which are often unknown to the users. Long-term or relapsing inflammation can accelerate skin discoloration and often result in a greater degree of hyperpigmentation. The melanin pigment is produced to absorb sunlight and help protect our skin from the sun’s UV radiation. The following natural plant extracts have shown promising effects in lightening brown spots. Lightening of brown spots or hyperpigmentation requires a lot of patience and knowledge of a variety of treatment choices. The exact cause of melasma is unspecified, but several factors are suggested, i. e. , genetic influences, exposure to UV radiation, pregnancy, birth-control pills, hormonal therapy, thyroid dysfunction, ovarian dysfunction, a number of cosmetics,...
