My GF has been waiting her whole life for this...
Well, at least since she had a baby. My GF is very skinny, unfortunately when you're really skinny sometimes you get stretch marks on your belly. She's been trying to get them to go away her whole life and is very self conscious about them. She has talked to surgeons in the past and even they admitted there is no miracle cure. While this is not an instant cure, I can tell you I've seen significant improvement since she bought this. And it's only been about 3 weeks. On the bottle it says usually improvement not noticed until 8-12 weeks, but she already is very happy with the improvements she's seen. The stretch marks have faded considerably. Works Great!!
Worked great for me! I have only used it for a month and my stretch marks are much lighter and my skin is much smoother! Stretch marks have definitely faded and are less noticeable. Wasn't too optimistic at first.
I decided to test the product on the newest stretch marks I had, which were also the worst ones I've ever had and was really looking forward to get rid of. They were bright red, quite long and deep. I've tried Avon stretch mark lotions, Mederma for stretch marks (which I hated and was over-priced), scar removal products, bio-oil, and plain cocoa butter lotions. None of those products worked, but this one seems to be doing well. I've used about 1/3 of the product (for almost 3 weeks now), trying to remember to use it twice a day but sometimes only once. I've had no kids, just have stretch marks from various weight loss and gain that's ruined my skin. The product itself doesn't really have a smell (which I'm thankful for, the Mederma one I used smelled strongly of hospital soap, ew.), it has a consistency of whipped butter, it's not oily, but since it's thick it does stay on the skin for a while and may not soak in completely right away if you put a lot on. This is the best product on the market for STRETCH MARKS!! I have four beautiful children, and I had several deep stretchmarks on my stomach, legs, and breast. No Way!!
I bought this cream thinking it would do nothing, but getting laser treatments are so expensive and time consuming! I decided what the heck, what did I have to lose (besides a few bucks)?? I read all the reviews for this product and many others as well, and this one seemed to positively affect many people. I figured it was my best shot at getting rid of these hideous stretch marks. I really, really, hoped this cream would work, but realistically figured it was just a scam like all the others. I have to say it is NOT like all the others, because it actually works!!!!! I cannot stress how happy I am to be leaving this review!!!!!After receiving it, I put it on right away, and did so for about a week. I really didn't notice a difference and didn't really pay attention to the marks and if it was doing anything, because I usually was putting it on right before bed. not a miracle cream, but it still works very well
I made the mistake of not taking care of my skin while I was pregnant and then after I had my daughter, I gained even more weight which led to some very unsightly stretch marks. I have been lost almost 50 pounds over the past 9 months thanks to an awesome personal trainer and a supplement called the which was the only thing that actually get my cravings and appetite under control (oh yeah my cravings did not stop when I had my baby!).Although I am just about at my weight pre-pregnancy, I still have the stretch marks to remind me that I let my weight get out of control. I have been using this cream for 2 months now, and no it is not a miracle cream that has magically erased my stretch marks, but it definitely has decreased the appearance of them. Seems to be working wondcers
As per the instructions (twice a day, every day for 12 weeks), I've been using Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy almost usually twice a day, and for about 3 weeks now. I've noticed an incredible improvement in the appearance and depth of my stretch marks. It seems to be working wonders! Doesn't do much for old stretch marks
I started using this during the second trimester of pregnancy. I already had numerous old, white stretch marks from puberty. While I did not develop any new stretch marks during pregnancy, Mederma did not noticeably change the appearance of my old stretch marks, so I am somewhat disappointed. I know the product information states that it does not work as well on old stretch marks, but it did not work at *all* on them. I applied the product as directed. I do think it might have helped to prevent me from developing new stretch marks during pregnancy, and I would use it during future pregnancies and would probably recommend it to friends who are worried about developing stretch marks during pregnancy. WORKS ON POST PREGNANCY STRETCH MARKS
I am 2 months post partum and my pregnancy left me with a lot of deep purple and dark brown to black stretch marks on my thighs, breast, butt, and tummy its a night mare! i used so many stretch marks creams and lotion from the time i was pregnant and none of them worked until i came across this one, i saw my deep stretch marks getting lighter on my first week of using it and slowly fading and revealing my old beautiful skin. It Actually Works
I decided to buy this product, because I figured if body builders use it for competitions, there was a good chance that it actually worked. My husband has stretch marks from his shoulders to his arms from when he decided to get buff (heavy weightlifting) on a deployment. He had white stretch marks on his deep caramel colored skin (african american) and within the first week I noticed a little fading. He's used this cream for about a month now, and he looks to be only a few more applications away from being completely even toned around that area. I'm not a scientist or anything, but it looks like there some type of redistribution of pigmentation happening. I'll stop there but the response has been awesome. I was a skeptic and even feared that it would (by some freak fluke) cause bleaching, but his skin looks completely natural and is well on it's way to being free of stretch marks. Good cream for the money
I had started using this cream 4 weeks after having my baby. I can say that it did help smooth some of the stretch marks and really moisturize the skin. Some of the lines are barely noticable now, but some are still pretty aparent. I have only been using this for 3 weeks. Saw the dermatologist today and have decided to go ahead with laser treatments. He said all the ingrediants in the cream are very good for the skin, and I should continue to use it after laser treatments to help speed up the process of having normal looking skin again. Worked great for me
I used this product when I was pregnant with my first child. I am petite with fair skin and EVERYONE in my family gets stretch marks. They say it's hereditary so I just wanted a product that would help minimize the marks. I ended up gaining 70 pounds! I started this product at 4-5 months using it 2-3 times daily (on my belly, thighs, and breasts) and putting a body butter over top as well for extra moisturizer. I also took extra zinc and vita C (Garden of Life Living vita C) and omega oils along with my prenatal vitamins. I craved fruit the whole way through so antioxidants were definately on board as well. Well, I didn't get ANY stretch marks at all! My doctor and the nurses said my belly looked really good the whole way through. I think this product was a huge help.
