Fabulous Set For Your Chemistry Major!
Wow! I ordered this set on a Friday night and it was waiting for me at home the following Monday! Each piece was carefully packaged, and the box had ample room and was filled with packing peanuts. I am very anal and not easily wowed, but I was very impressed!This is a gift for my daughter who is a Chemistry major at Portland State. When I showed her this set as a possible Christmas gift she was as excited as a true geek can get! She said this set would absolutely prep her for success. Really Good, basic Lab Equipment. Not Tonka Toy Stuff
./ Sometimes, when you order Science stuff off the Internet, you never know if you are going to get a bunch of, you know, cheap plastic junk, undersized and only imitating useful Science tools. The CHEMISTRY LAB SET arrived today, and it is solid good stuff. It has a Cast Iron support with Stainless Steel legs for the beakers to be heated under the Alcohol Lamp/ Bunsen Burner. Two of the tubes, at least, are marked off for clear MilliLiter measurements.It has an Eyedropper, and real glass beakers, tubes. [Or stuff that looks like glass.] For once, I got something really good for the money spent. It should be noted, that this does not contain any kind of booklet explaining how to do chemical experiments. However, I have ordered some book on that separate. The product description clearly explains that this is only Lab equipment itself, and I appreciate that honesty. In my opinion, I think this is an...

Not bad, pretty good
I bought this because I was wanting to try my hands at plant alchemy, and learn some basic chemistry. I got everything in the set . But one problem was when I got it the graduate was broken. which was no there fault, Postal services fault. It is great for a beginner level chemist to learn the basics of chemistry. and not bad for the price.

great starter kit
We have enjoyed this as a great starter kit. We also ordered aprons, a few more beakers and a scale to round out our explorations. The lab equipment is glass and "real" which is what our son wanted. Husband is pleased it is real equipment which means more possibilities in what they can do with the set. This has led to hours of fun and also serious learning.

Cool Chemistry Set
The set is really cool, but it was slightly smaller than I had expected. The photo shows 6 large test tubes, but I got 3 small ones and 3 large ones.The claps are harder to adjust than expected and the metal sheet does not have heat balance coating; the Erlenmeyer Flask are smaller than the ones in the photo. But none the less, this is a very nice and detailed set for intermediate level and beginners.
